VOLUNTEERS DRIVE SENIOR NUTRITION IN YOLO COUNTY!

Opportunities in Woodland, West Sacramento, Winters, and Davis

Delivery Driver

Drivers use their own vehicle to deliver meals to mobility-challenged seniors. Drivers must have a valid California Driver’s License, a clean DMV record, proof of automobile insurance, and be at least 21 years of age. Drivers may work with a partner or alone, and are assigned to keep simple logs of the food temperature and delivery times. Delivery routes of 10-15 meals take approximately 60-90 minutes to complete. Drivers are needed Mondays, Wednesday, and Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Volunteers may assist once a week or more as their schedule allows, or serve as an on-call substitute.

Groups

Businesses, civic/faith-based/youth organizations, and other larger groups are invited to engage in a variety of one-time or on-going volunteer opportunities.  Activities and time frames vary.
